The gambling operator, Kindred Group, has increased its footprints into the US market by entering into a new partnership with Scientific Games. Under the terms of the deal, Kindred will be granted access to Scientific’s massive range of online gaming content, as well as the Scientific Open Gaming System and Open Platform System.
The Stockholm-listed group already has a presence in the United States through its partnership with the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Atlantic City, NJ. In June this year, Kindred launched its Unibet brand in the Garden State. The new arrangement with Scientific will strengthen the group’s position in the US even more.
The senior vice-president for the Kindred’s US operations, Manuel Stan, said about the new deal: “Partnering with Scientific Games to bring world-class content and back-end functionality to New Jersey is a big win as US iGaming gains traction.”
“We’re excited to elevate the player experience in New Jersey using the OGS and OPS platforms.”
Speaking for Scientific Games, Dylan Stanley said that the group continues to embed both its Open Gaming System (OGS) and its Open Platform account system at the heart of the US gambling industry. He added that the group’s teams have being working tirelessly to bring the world’s best content and platform technology to Kindred – one of the industry’s biggest names.
“Kindred players will reap the benefits of truly next level experiences from top-tier content, fresh in-game mechanics and immersive features,” added Stanley.
While the Kindred/Scientific Games partnership is only considered legal in New Jersey for now, they are hopeful that it will successfully spread to other states as sports betting markets open across the US.
Kindred has teamed up with the Mohegan Sun Pocono in Pennsylvania to operate an online gaming platform which is set to go live very soon.
